Question
I have 98 Honda Accord. Clear Coat is peeling off on the roof and on the hood. Although the paint which is exposed after peeling is intact and no rust there. How can I fix it? Can I remove the entire clear coat and put new clear coat there? How much it would cost? Any solution available in market to stop peeling and fix small portion where it is peeled off?

Please reply
Thanks
Yogesh

Answer
Yogesh sorry you can not just remove the clear the only way to remove it is to sand it and more than likely you will sand the color to so it is best to have the bad spots sanded down and have them resprayed.you will spend any where from $1000 to $3000 depending where you live and who you use to have it repainted.i belive they make a small touch up pen to fix small spots but I'm not sure how big of a spot it will fix you can find them at auto parts stores and paint stores.
