Question
Hi Bill, Sanded my clear, but decided to start over with base. Can I spay the base over the sanded clear or do I need to prime it again first. The clear is 3 week old urethane.
Thanks again, Ron

Answer
Hello again Ron! You will be okay spraying base on the new clear. Just don't lay it on wet. base is meant to be applied sorta corn cobby, and all the shine comes from the clear. Now is when your 1.3 tip will come in handy. Make sure you have a wide fan, and don't dawdle with the gun. Keep moving. I know it's tempting to really lay it on, but save that for the clear. Leave an extra 5 or 10 minutes between coats of base to be safe. Bill
