My name is Michael Schmidt I live at 6662 poplar creek rd in oxford NC my phone is 919-321-1521 and my email is tha_schmidt@yahoo.com My question is about my 1997 Nissan 4WD pickup. I have recently replaced both front fenders myself. This truck has those factory vinyl graphics on the sides that stretch onto the front fenders. I am now going to get the fenders painted to match the rest of the truck but I dont know where I can get the part of those graphics that was on the fenders. It is only a small part of the total graphics, however it looks odd without it. Do you have any suggestions as to where I can purchase these vinyl graphics that were factory supplied by Nissan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Michael
I've purchased, both, factory and non-factory parts...including fenders.
If you haven't put them on yet, undercoat the them first.
As far as graphics, take it to a NISSAN authorized dealer's body shop, they should be able to order what you need...as when I can't find a less expensive after market part, thats what I do.

Having put myself and my brother through college in the late 80's and early 90's buying and selling over 250 cars. I restored my first car, a '72 350 Chevelle Malibu 4 barrel, in 1978 at just 16 years old. From there, I never looked back...usually restoring classics or sport cars: 340 Cuda's, 396 SS Chevelle's, Novas, Dusters, late 60's Mustang Convertibles, GTO Judges, 455 Buick Grand Sports, about a dozen 280ZX's ('79-'83)--the most recent, in July of '06, I sold a '83 280ZX on cars.com to a gentleman that flew in from Colorado to my state of Ohio just to purchase it from me. As for experience: Have replaced valances, door skins, fenders. Have grounded, welded, fiberglassed, filled, pasted and sprayed top coat, feathered, masked, primed, painted (enamel, lacquer, base-coat/clear-coat), touched-up, melted-in, wet sanded, wool polished, sponge polished, finessed, and much, much, more...to much to list here.
