Auto body repair & detailing/Fiberglass bumper hole

Question
My son was involved in an accident that left a 5" wide x 1" high hole in our 93 Geo Prizm's front fender. I have covered it with duct tape but that eventually disintegrates. The  car is not worth taking to the shop but I would like to do something with it cosmetically. Can you make a recommendation?
Thanks.

Answer
Put some tape on the back side then grind the outside with 36 grit grinder wheel. Then apply some fiber glass then sand smooth and apply bondo and sand smooth. Then apply primer then paint. Sorry no real easy fix. Maybe some two part epoxy glue available at a Napa type store.
           Thank you for the question!
