Question
I have a 1992 Chevy K1500. I have Helm factory manuals that I bought right after I got the truck new and do all repairs myself. I am getting ready to do some major body work to replace rusted panels. What manuals contain the GM model specific body repair details? I'm not having much luck on Internet search. Mitchell/Motor looks possible but they appear to be more for estimating purposes. Thank you.

Answer
Year One, the restoration parts people, have a book in their literature section called how to restore your chevy truck. I don't know if it covers your specific model of truck, being as new as it is. The techniques, however, will be similar. You can also try other companies like The Paddock, or any other aftermarket parts publications. Thet all have a literature section, filled with how to videos and books. Congratulations on having the wisdom to look before you leap. Bill
