Auto body repair & detailing/Inner Door Handle Replacement

Question
I have a 1995 GMC Yukon, 2-door, and the driver's side inner door handle doesn't work...I purchased a new one and would like instructions on how to repace...like taking the door panel off, etc.  Is there an online step by step instruction guide available?

Answer
To Remove the interior panel, first Remove the armrest screws. Then, use a stiff putty knife around the bottom of the interior panel to release the clips, it will sound like the world is coming to an end when the clips release. Remove the bezel around the door handle, it will require a small screwdriver inserted into the tabs that are hidden between the bezel and handle. Once the trim panel is removed, the handle assembly is exposed. drill out the rivet, push the bezel assembly forward to release it from the door. There are 2 rods attached to it, pry them off with a big screwdriver. The handle is now removed, installation is the reverse of disassembly. Bill
