Question
I'm trying to replace the inside door handle in my Toyota Corolla. I can get the little white piece snapped on to the arm, but when I try to place the handle in the door, it pops off. Is there a trick to this? Am I going to have to remove the door panel?
no trick really, the clip actually stretches out and does not stay on as well as when it was never removed. Save yourself the headache and remove the door panel. Remember to be careful prying on the clips. and don't forget the screws around the door handle.

| Comment | Thank you for your response. I actually did not have to remove the panel. I wasn't getting the end of the rod into the clip all the way (in fear of breaking the clip). Once I got it in there, the clip hung on to the rod pretty good and I was able to place the handle into the door. Thanks again for your help! | ||
