Question
How do I decipher the Service Parts Label on my 1993 Cadillac DeVille to determine the paint color number?

Answer
There is a paint code on the bottom line, off by itself. Something like WA-8979. That is the easiest, most accurate code to use for finding out the pain color. There is a less accurate code also, in the second to bottom line  that will be something like 74U . The U is for upper body color. There will be another code next to it, something like 56I the I is for interior color. In the same line there might be another code, like 99L the L is for lower body color if the car has 2 tone paint. Bill
