Question
My 6 year old son scrubbed the side of my black van with a brillo pad.  It left visible swirls in the finish.  Is there some kind of way to take these out...or does it need repainted?

Answer
You may be able to wet sand and buff out the scratches but you will need a buffer to accomplish this.It is possible to hand rub with compound but you may not get the results you are looking for.If you are unsuccessful you can visit a body shop and they can do this for you at a reasonable cost.
