Question I have an '04 Rubicon that has paint pealing and flaking from the fender flares. I want to repaint them myself. They are shiny black. What type of prep do I need to do? What kind of paint should I use?
Answer Rick you just need to sand them down i would sand them with a 600 grit wetsand paper, then wash them with a dish soap and wash them well,dry them you can use any paint you like just use name brand stuff try not to use knock off brands you should be able to find a paint store in your area and they will be able to help you find the paint and supply you will need.
