Auto body repair & detailing/Refinish Clearcoat

Question
I have orange peel on my clear which is 3 weeks old & too hard to wet sand out. Can i sand & recoat the clear? It has 3 heavy coats of clear so I'm not concerned about sanding through the clear.

Answer
It should still be sandable at this point. Sand with a 1200 grit then lightly with a 1500 then try buffing clear. This should work. The only finish that I have encountereds that is only sandable during that small window in single stage. Most to all 4-1, 3-1 and 1-1 clears can be sanded and buffed at any time.
