Question
I had white paint on my plastic mirror panel on my car. Senseless me, I used nail polish remover hoping to take the paint off but it made my panel white. Is there anything I can buy to bring my original color back? Please help.

Answer
Hello,
If you're talking about a mirror colored strip on the outside of your car, what you've done is taken the mirror paint off.  What's showing is the plastic underneath if I understand you correctly.  You'd have to repaint it I'm afraid.  Paint thinner or lacquer thinner is your best choice when it comes to removing paint or other foreign substances from smooth hard surfaces on your car, especially your paint finish.  Always, Always try it on a small area that is hidden or not as obvious, to test it.  Sorry about the goof up.
