Question
What is the proper repair procedure for a scratched and scraped bumper.  A car swiped the bumper on my 2006 Honda Accord, scraping it up, up to the black plastic in some places.  Are new bumpers sold already painted (silver), or should I just plan to have the old bumper repainted.

Otto remove the bumper,sand the scrap with 180 grit paper, then apply glaze coat sand with 180 it might take several coats of glazing to get it smooth then sand with 220 and prime then wet sand with 600 and its ready for paint.no most bumpers are not painted you just have to balance out the cost to repair compared to the cost of a new one.
