Auto body repair & detailing/bent frame

Question
would you accept a insurance company having the frame on your truck replaced 2006 silverado with 25000 miles

Answer
Dewayne-

A frame replacement should have less of an impact on the integrity of your truck than many other repairs that involve sectioning or repair of unibody parts in my opinion. It is a simple matter to replace and I have witnessed it completed in a Ford store on many F-150/Expedition vehicles in a single days work by a competent technician. Just try to imagine the truck coming apart in sections and being bolted to the new frame piece by piece, bed, cab, radiator and support, suspension, fuel tank and lines, rear differential, very similar to how it's built at the factory. I'd much rather have a frame replacement on my Silverado than have a rocker, door, cabside replaced. Good Luck- Mark
