Auto body repair & detailing/bowed hood

Question
This morning I rear ended a Jeep Cherokee with my 5 series BMW.  Seeing as my car is lower, His bumper hit my hood and now I cant get the hood open.  Is there a way I can bend the hood back and it will open or is this going to be a professional job?  If so, is it going to be an expensive one?  I could care less about the denting or bowing, but I would like to get my hood open!

Answer
Street-

Enlist the help of a friend to pull the inside release while you sit on, jump up and down on, or press down on the front of the hood- you should be able to get the outside release out from the grille opening if you try hard. Good Luck- Mark
