Question
I was in a parkade driving my 06 mitsubishi eclipse and drove too far forward and i heard a loud crack.  I got out and checked and it looks like it hit the front license plate. as a result the area above where the screw for the plate is is cracked.  its about an inch in diameter one crack goes up diagonally and the other crack up.  there is paint missing on the diagonal crack, about 3 mm thick.  can this be fixed at a body shop,or does the whole front bumper need to be replaced.  thank you.

Answer
Lisa it can be fixed but depending how bad it is and how cheap a new one will cost, most people will replace it if there is not much difference in price b/c the shop can order the bumper and have it ready so your car doesn't have to sit at the shop while they repair the old one which could take a week compared to a day.
