Auto body repair & detailing/deep scratches

Question
This Halloween somebody keyed two of our cars, a bright red one and a black one. The black one is my main concern, the scratch is on the hood and goes through clear coat and black paint into primer. it is not a long straight scratch but several short ones. what is the best way to fix this without getting into actual body repair?

Answer
First, I'll help you find fingerprints and we'll wring the idiot's neck.  Then....
There are paint touchup and airbrush experts that service all the used car lots in any town.  They touchup used cars to get ready to sell.  They may be hard to find, but search for paint touchup or airbrush, or call a few detail shops and you'll find them.  Be there to see the work and make it understood that you are very particular and don't just want someone to hand fill the scratch, but also to wet sand and polish it smooth, or airbrush it.
Best of luck,
