Question
I have several door dings that haven't dented nor have the scratched the paint but I can seem to scrub/wash them off.  I heard other say that they can be "buffed" out, or to use rubbing compound?  I not sure what to do.  Can you offer a relitively inexpense way to get these unsightly door dings out?

I recommend that you go and see a den wizard. I don't know what brand of car you have, but I bet if you call the dealership nearest you that sells your brand of car, they can recommend one to you. They may even do them in house. now, dings won't buff out, just for the record. Dent wizards have a whole multitude of specialty pry bars and other related tools to allow them to access dents that are behind things such as crash beams and theft deterrent plates in doors. It's not really a DIY job. The car's finish is easily cracked, and once it's cracked, water can get under the paint. That will cause rust. Besides, amateur dent removal jobs are always a disappointment. Even I can't duplicate the ability of a good dent doctor, and I've been fixing cars for 23 years. It costs about 1/3 the cost of painting a panel, making it a total bargain, and unless the dent has a scratch, or is creased, you will never know it was there. have a great afternoon. Bill
