Question
My son hit a guard rail when he hydro planed in my 2005 toyota corolla.  The left front side panel/fender was damaged.  Approximately how much would this cost to get fixed?  Should I go to a salvage yard and then have someone else match up the paint?  Should I attempt to have my husband fic it?

Answer
The cost of replacing the fender should cost about $600 to $1000 depending on if it is just the fender or other stuff is needed as well. If you do not know anything about auto repair it will not be easy to replace a fender but if you are handy it could save you a lot of cash. You May even be able to find the right color part in a salvage yard if you look hard enough.
