Question
Restoring 80 model corvette. There are stress crack (crows feet)all over body. Need to know the best way to repair and paint. I have 15 yrs. in paint and body.

Answer
Most of the stress cracks are probably from old lacquer. The best bet is media blasting or if no one does that by you get out the 80 grit on a DA.A thin coat of polyester putty such as icing,is the easiest remedy. If the cracks are at the seams  smc Vette panel adhesive is good for some structural repairs. If the damage it really deep then the standard fiberglass method is your answer.
