Your response to me was you have already answered this question for me before, this is the first I have ever asked anyone about painting a motorcycle frame. Sorry for the question, didn't expect that.

Okay, found the prob. I answered it, but it never got sent. Here goes, and man, I'm really sorry. I personally like using touch up guns to paint frame, you don't waste nearly as much paint as a regular gun. Only prob is when you clear. You need a slow dry clear so that you don't wind up with dry spots. Using a touch up gun is pretty slow, and hyper dry clears will be getting out of dirt before you have the whole frame cleared. This will result in dry spray. I don't think fluid needle selection will come into play here, you aren't painting large flat panels like on a car. On big jobs, I like a 1.4 in my base coat gun, wiht a big fan. I like a 1.7 in my clear gun, also with a big fan. I move when I paint, I want in and out of the spray area. Much of he dirt in paint actually comes off of the painter. Be sure to blow yourself off with compressed air, and wear some sort of stocking cap if you don't have a paint sock for your head. Be sure to maintain a temp of 70 degress. Don't let the temp fall under 58for sevaral hours after painting, the catalization of the clear will stop. Hope this helps.
