Question
2006 jetta damage to right doors, new door panels put on. what is installed in the doors for sound proofing and how is it installed.  doors sound like an empty pan.

There should be sound deadening materials applied to the inside of the doors. I am not sure on Volkswagen if it is applied at the factory on the new parts or if it is applied after installation by the repairer. At any rate- if something is not right, bring it to the attention of the shop and they should take care of it. It's not too late to fix it. Good Luck, Mark
