Question
I have a 1961 mk2 jaguar that i had bare metal resprayed at a cost of £3000.00 2.5 yrs ago, how long should a customer expect a proffessional respray of this type to last and what are my options will i need to completely strip the car again and have it re done. The car was imported from california to the uk, so it spent all its life in a good climate, when the car was stripped of its original paint the shell was as new except some accident damage that had occured in america during its life. Many thanks

Answer
The car will have to be stripped back down to below the paint blisters it may be only down to the primer if that is all the farther the blisters go. And your paint should have lasted at least 10 to 15 years.
    Thank you for the question!
