Question
What process dose the factory take brand new cars threw, in terms of putting paint on it.

Answer
It's all done with robots, it's virtualy impossible for the guy in the shop to duplicate this process. The factory uses a one coat system for each step. The body is dipped in a electrostatic coat of primer then run through a robotic paint sray booth then baked. one coat of primer one coat of color one coat of clear. When the body shop repairs your car, you will probably have more of each than the factory put on.
