Question
Hi
I am a auto technician and I am looking to buy a very nice auto body shop any advice or comments.
Thank you

Answer
Location, A good reputation, word of mouth. Do you have a shop in mind? Check gross sales and overhead. You can adjust overhead easy enough. Good people to work for you are hard find, look at that real close.  One bad job makes the whole shop look bad. A satisfied customer will not say a whole lot to to anybody, piss him off and he tells everybody. Sometimes you have to take a loss to make him happy but it's worth in the long run. I've been doing this since 1970, I know. Sometimes , you find a guy you can't satisfy, then you are on your own, Good Luck
