Hi, I recently rear-ended someone, and it left my grille and hood crumpled.  The hood opens and closes but I noticed that the radiator support was pushed back about a 1/2 inch. What is the best way to bring it forward so when I put the new hood on it opens and closes with no problem?? thanks

Jay, about the simplest thing I can tell you is to find something strong and sturdy to chain to, then somehow attach a come-a-long to the radiator support. There are special sheet metal clamps for this purpose, but I doubt that you will want to spend a hundred bucks for one. Be gentle, look for areas that are kicked up in the sheet metal. While under pressure, gently tap down any kinks or waved you notice. They will be most prevalent in the corners. Check for straightness by cross measuring out to anything that looks like it's got the same hole or bolt on the opposite side. Fender bolts and strut mount bolts are usually the best places to start a measurement from. Measure the damage before you start, and check measurements after each pull. If you can't ge the support back out where it belongs, you will need to seek the help of a body shop with a frame rack. Bill
