Hi, any idea on how i can get a rough estimate on auto body repair? I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima that was rear ended. To me it looks like it needs a whole new bumber and passenger side rear corner panel. Any guesses on cost? I am just curious to see if the vehicle may be totaled. I think it's worth about 4K private party sale.

You probably have $2500.00 to $3000.00 damage with OEM parts. Used or aftermarket parts will greatly reduce the cost of repairs. You car is old enough to have a fairly good assortment at the salvage yards. Go to www.car-part.com and see for yourself what's available in your area.
