Auto body repair & detailing/rust damaged mustang

Question
I'm currently interested in a '65 mustang that is for sale for $2,000. The thing
is, there is rust all over the body, and the interior is in terrible condition. It
supposedly runs good, but I don't know if it's worth the amount I might need to
pay to fix everything. How much do you think it might cost to replace the
interior/ remove the rust and corrosion? Or is it even worth it to try to repair this
much rust damage? Thanks.

Answer
Lisa it depends how much you like the car it is hard to say how much it fix it because i don't know how you want the finished car to be,a daily driver or a show car,for the interior you might spend $500 to put new carpet seat covers new door panels but if you want it to be for show you might spend a couple grand,as far as the rust it will all have to cut out and replaced with new metal and you can expect to spend a couple grand on the body.and as far is it being worth it you have to remember its a 65 mustang no mater how much you spend to fix it you can always sell.
