Question
QUESTION: the passenger side of my trunk spoiler broke loose from the mounting bolts. can i get a new mounting kit for this or does it mean new spoiler or is there some kind of supper strong mounting tape that i can use. also i had my door painted aug 30th how long do i have to wait to wax it, i use a buffer to wax with?

mark

ANSWER: Mark, I've no idea what sort of truck we are talking about, So I'm goiing to say the spoiler is junk.  It sure doesn't sound good, from a bodyman's perspective. Don't power buff your vehicle every time you wax it. it will only eventually wear all the clear of of it. Once or twice a year is plenty. It's been long enough to wax the door. Bill

QUESTION: i forgot to tell you what kind of car i have. its a 02 Nissan maxima factory spoiler

Answer
Mark, carefully remove the spoiler and any remaining fasteners and/or pieces. Take everything to a body shop, and see if they can somehow glue her all back together. No tape will hold the spoiler down, but it can ASSIST in holding it. That's the best I can tell you without actually seeing it. have a great evening. Bill
