Auto body repair & detailing/water spots

Question
what is the best way to get rid of water spots on chrome trim? Thanks. TG

Answer
First, try windex. If that doesn't work, Use a chrome polish made specifically for chrome. If it doesn't remove the spots, the chrome may be damaged or defective. As an absolute last resort, try extra fine steel wool. If none of these things help, check your vehicle warranty to see if it may be covered, or call your dealership service manager. There is no way to repair damaged chrome, it can only be replated or replaced.  Bill
