Auto body repair & detailing/window replacement

Question
The front passenger window of our 1995 Chevy Suburban was smashed the other night.  We're replacing it ourselves.  What is the trick to removing the panel/ window handle?

Answer
The doors are very complicated on these trucks,I would strongly advise against doing this yourself. The trim panel is removed by prying around the inside handle area you will see the space between the bezel and the handle.A flat screwdriver works well for this.In the inside handle area you will find two 7mm head bolts ,remove these. You will then have to pry around the perimeter of the door gently prying against the clips.Once all the clips are loosened you will lift the panel straight up tp remove it.If you have manual windows you will have to buy a GM window crank tool to remove the handle. The tool slides in between the crank and trim panel to release the clip, the handle will then pull off but be careful to hold your hand around the handle so you dont lose the clip.
