AutoCAD/Issues when plotting a drawing using Land development 2007 using AutCAD 2008

Question
Dear Sir,
I have about 12 years experience in AutoCAD.  I work as an Arc. Coordinator for a design build company.  Here's my issue....When some of us plot drawings created by land development, the text in the tag bubbles (which call out numbers that coordinate with the legend) show up fine on the computer, however they do not show up when we plot.  I use AutoCAD 2008 and others use 2007.  I checked all the layers, etc. so that is not the problem.  Here's the confusing part, some people can plot the drawings with no problems, others (like myself) cannot get the text to show up.  Do you have any idea what the problem may be.  A proxy setting??

Answer
Hi ---
Well, I am afraid you left out some major facts.
-- everyone using the same plotter?
-- same plotstyle??
-- everyone using the exact same settings in the plot dialog box???
--- if you go to print on someone else's machine, is it good then, to rule out any mistake on your part????
--- all of you on a network????
--- were the LDT drawings exported to AutoCAD?
--- are the plot previews onscreen correct?  (number one thing you forgot to mention)

My first guess is that there is some small error that some are making ---  and/or some difference in the way they plot.
After that, I would look at settings on the machines.
