Question
Something that only seems to occur on my PC in the office is that when I import using the design centre (drag and drop) a standard layout (between a4 and a1 sizes) to setup a new drawing for print, it bring it in my current drawing as way over scaled to the page. Ive checked the units to be the same for both drawings....I dont know what else to do, and the stange thing is it only happens on my PC, even after I changed PC!!!
Please help

I have been fortunate in that I haven't had to deal with problems like this myself.  However, I am going to try to help.  There are some system variables that come into play here:
INSUNITS
INSUNITSDEFSOURCE
INSUNITSDEFTARGET
Whenever you pull a layout from ADC, the settings that you have on your computer need to be the same as the ones that you're getting data from.  If you pull in a data from ADC and isn't scaled right, you change your settings and try again and it looks the same, it could be that you needed to purge blocks even all unreferenced items from your drawing.  Do that and try again.  Sometimes it's a hit and miss process.  I've gone over and over this myself a bunch of times, and I've ended up redefining blocks that were 25.4 times to big or 12 times too big or .03937 times too small. I'm going to check another source to see if they can help with this problem.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
