Question
i asked earlier about how to draw helix using the arc line or any zigzag curve as a path but no one can reply me, is it because of autocad 2007 not providing this specific command. pls tell me if someone know.
thank

Answer
Hi--

Did you go to HELP and type in HELIX??

If so, you saw the way AutoCAD can create a helix, which was new, I believe, for 2007.

If you want it to match an arc or zigzag which it will not match after that command, I dont see a reason---- unless you are trying to create something that is similar to a true helix, but irregular. AutoCAD wont make an irregular helix.

If I am missing something you meant to tell me, due to language, write back.

I always suggest you get a good book and follow the lessons -- eventually you learn what can and cannot be done, with confidence.
