AnswerI am going to pose some questions back to you---
WHY??? I have used AutoCAD for 9 years and never needed that command, so I went and looked it up for you.
ARE YOU TRYING TO GO THROUGH THE LIST AND LEARN ALL COMMANDS? Some people still think that is cool -- I think it is very old fashioned, but it may be popular where you are.
DON'T YOU THINK IT IS MORE USEFUL TO LEARN HOW TO USE AUTOCAD "HELP" EFFECTIVELY THAT INQUIRE ABOUT ODD COMMANDS?
As far as I know, every regular command is defined and given a context in HELP. I dont like to train people to ask, but to look things up, so they can solve issues quickly.
I like Quick Select, but you may have some reason to need FILTER. That is up to you.
You completely miss that AutoCAD is a TOOL used within an industry or discipline, and various features of it only matter if they serve you in your work. Electronic parts designers have different needs than Architects, so use different tools, right??? This is the only question about comparing and learning commands I have ever received.
So, I use QSELECT --- and I look up any commands I dont understand in HELP.
That is my advice.
