Question
I'm using 2008 electrical autocad.  When I go to do a multileader, sometimes the line and arrow head isn't the same as what is presently on a drawing.  How do I set it to make the same leader style as the others?  I tried to use the "icon that copies same properties" but that don't work.

Thank you,
Dan

Answer
MLEADERS don't have anything to do with LEADERS, as you may have found out already.  LEADERS, are connected with a dimension style.  MLEADERS are not.  There is no way to set your MLEADER style yet to be the same as another unless you have a leader of a particular style that has not been modified and the current settings are to use the properties of a particular unmodified multileader style.  The MLEADERSTYLE command help you set your settings to your liking.  I was having trouble getting one leader to match another until I used the MATCHPROP command.  But you said, "I tried to use the 'icon that copies same properties' but that don't work."  The only such "icon" that I can think of at the moment is the MATCHPROP command toolbar button.  Is that the one you pressed that you say doesn't work?  Did you try typing _matchprop at the command line to match mleader properties?
Anyway, with MLEADERSTYLE, you should be able to set your leader the way you want to before you begin.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
