Question
One of my project drawings client says I should not put any text in paperspace. But when I am using Paperspace to make Detail of some area. the text looks very big in Viewport because text i am using in model is standard text style. so how can I control text size been viewed in paperspace viewport which will look same size as it looks in viewport where I am marking the detail.

Answer
Vijay:
You will either have to change the size of the text on the detail, or if the text is MTEXT, make it ANNOTATIVE, and configure it for the scale you are viewing it from paper space.  Annotative text is a new concept and is only available to users since AutoCAD 2008 came out.  You didn't mention what version of AutoCAD you were running, so hopefully, I'm "barking up the right tree".

The viewport should be zoomed to 1xp (1:1) to start.  With the viewport active, you can press the annotation visibility button at the bottom of the screen and choose the annotation scale.  The objects in the viewport will change their size, but the annotative text will not.  Non-annotative text will disappear from view in the viewport.  The scale list is editable from the following location:
Tools;Options;User Preferences;Edit Scale List.

Practice the idea to get a handle on how it works.  There is also a scale list cleanup utility.  Heidi Hewett has a really good explanation of it all here:

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
