I have 10 years experience and right now I'm looking for a job either as a full time employee or working from my house. Do you recommend sending out resumes or creating an online web site showcasing my work? In simple terms what is the way to create an online web site to show my work?

Hi Al, since you've had 10 yrs under your belt, i'd recommend creating a linkedin.com account if you havent already. This way, you can create your résumé, share your accomplishments, & network w/ past colleages (request for a letter recommendation). Additionally, you can also create blogs from wordpress.com. here you can showcase your work & contact information. the sites i've mentioned so far are all free, otherwise you can also supplement your efforts in building your own website.
