Question
I have a drawing that I need to save as a jpeg But the resolution is not good when it is opened up as a jpeg. So the question is How do I change the resolution of a 2-D drawing in Auto cadd 07

Answer
Alysa:
It appears that AutoCAD doesn't offer a very tight resolution when using the JPGOUT command.  In fact, AutoCAD doesn't offer any choice of resolution at all.  Therefore you will need another converter.  You can find one here:

You might have to save down to 2004 in order to convert with this one.  There are other ones online, too.  None are free that I know of, but this one is a trial version.  You should at least be able to see whether or not it will work for you.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
