Answer
Hi== MEANT NICELY

When I included in my profile the request for you to give me full information about yourself, your experience, the AutoCAD release, and THE PURPOSE OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING
--- I was not wasting time, but assuring your best help, when I wrote that.
--- Also, I am an Interior Designer, and may need more explanation if your drawing is mechanical. We NEVER use Ordinate Dimensions.

Students tend to waste my time by not telling me WHY they want to do what they ask --- I need to know, so I can correct you if you are wrongl suggest a better approach, or simply follow your logic.

Please be polite enough to write back with all information if you expect me to be able to reply intelligently.

Meanwhile -- Please do yourself a big favor:
1-- use the correct terms -- AutoCad does not DRAW dimensions, it creates them. Dimensions are not drawn objects.
2-- accept the program as it is, dont imagine it is different. ONLY one UCS is possible --- but there are probably ways to get around what you want, if I had any real idea what that was.

I am good at helping Architects and Interior Designers who are intimidated by Autocad, ADT, etc. to feel comfortable, get things done. If you are in another field, I will do what I can for you. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS TO QUESTIONER-- MOST DON'T FOLLOW THEM, AND IT MAKES IT VERY HARD TO ANSWER WELL-- THANKS
