Question
how do you create a unique shaped viewport? I know you can create circular, triangular or any other shaped viewport but i'm not sure how. please help.

Answer
Tyler,

Create your closed polyline or circle, invoke '-vports' command type 'o' for object. Select the polyline u created & it should render as a viewport. Additionally, you can also use 'p' for polygonal, then create a closed polyline.
Hope this helps, let me know.
