Question
I have been given a middle east project and the soft copy of drawings receive are in Arabic. Where can I get the Arabic shape fonts (free) ?

Can you possibly ask the people where dwg originated from? I'm sure they'd be willing to accommodate your needs.
I found some fonts, however they're true type:
