AutoCAD/acad properties problem

Question
Hi

I have a problem with properties in Acad 2007. Both geometry and text have dissapeared from the pop out properties panel. I've tried reinstall, repair registry etc and the help section but all to no avail. These features show in my copy of 2006. Any ideas?
Regards and thanks, Stu Haynes

Answer
Stu:  I have never run into that.  I looked it up on the KB in Autodesk and came up empty.  I'm going to take it to the Autodesk discussion groups and see what happens.  I'll do a follow-up message as soon as I hear something.  One thing I might suggest is to contact your reseller for support on this issue.  It's so strange that perhaps they can walk you through a more thorough uninstallation before reinstalling.  Anyway, still looking for a better answer.

Follow-up:
In case you haven't had a chance yet to talk to your reseller, I found a link to an Autodesk instruction site that shows you how to do a clean uninstallation so you can subsequently do a clean installation of AutoCAD.  Here is the URL:

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
