AutoCAD/Leaders

Question
How do I insert a leader that has a pentagon shape around the text?  I have drawn boxes around 20 different areas in my drawing and I want to have a leader pointing to each box that has a number (text) at the end of the leader that is located within a pentagon shape.  I am using AutoCad LT 2006.

Thanks,

Greg

Answer
Greg,

Autocad doesn't have this feature but can be done manually. Create block from the pentagon w/ the text attribute inside. Invoke, QL (quick leader w/ settings Annotation Type = None), indicate Pt1 at the box & Pt2 at the pentagon.
Autocad LT unfortunately doesn't support any custom programming routines such as VBA or Lisp which would enable you to automate this process effortlessly. Hope this helps!
