AutoCAD/Layer Lisp

Question
How do i set up a standard lisp routine for the company's layers so that when new projects or sheets are started we do not have to go to the trouble of constantly typing out and adding the layers all over again? Thanks.

Answer
the simplest thing to do does not involve any programming at all. make an empty drawing with all your layers setup in it.
you can insert that drawing as a block into any new or existing drawings and the layers inside it will be created.
you can also save it as a template file, and choose that template when starting a new drawing.
