AutoCAD/Printing hatching at half scale

Question
I have some solid hatching that looks broken or transparent when I print a 24 x 36 sheet at 11 x 17.  When its printed full size it looks fine.  I've tried selecting the scale lineweights box when printing, I've also tried changing the hatching layer.  Thanks!

My sincerest apology for the delay.
How are you printing the 11x17, are you still using same PC3 file just different paper size? Are you printing both sizes at the same printer? Can you try printing a dwf for both sizes & see if it renders the same problem?
