Question
I have inserted on a drawing - a raster image - however can't bind the scan to the drawing for sending it to print.  I have tried to reinsert - add - and even tried to insert it as an external reference (can't do it) - however I can't get it to "Stick" to the drawing.
Any suggestions.

Answer
Hi
1-- A raster image in your drawing is a reference to the file containing the image -- thus, for it to appear in a version of the drawing you send, you must send that file as well, and the path must be the same.  (It is NOT contained in your drawing, thus a sent drawing will not have it)

2-- Sometimes copy/paste will be satisfactory for getting am image in.

3-- As far as "sending to print" -- I STRONGLY ADVISE you learn how to print to a file, and send a plt. file, NEVER your drawing, to a print shop.  It is your job to control what is printed and how it looks, according to what many of us think is good professional practice. This is pretty easy to learn, it's in most any book.
