hello J.B

i have a really fast computer its a dual core 2.2 ghz speed and 2gb physical memory and a 512mg graphical adapter xnforce and i have autocad 2008 installed.

i can open autocad drawings really fast , but when i print some of them it take hell long time , i have a canon ipf 710  plotter which is supposed to be new and really good , memory of that plotter is 256mb.

when i print some drawings with alot of details and colors it take along time and most of the time it does not print it because autocad 2008 stops responding.

any clews?

Answer
Rawn,

My sincere apologies for the delay!
Have you tried creating a PC3 file using Add-a-Plotter wizard?
You can later edit the configured plotter (PC3) using the Plotter Configuration Editor. The editor gives you the flexibility & options for modifying your plotter's port connections and output settings. Hope this points you to the right direction. Let me know how it goes!
