Question
Im new to AutoCad LT2000 - am getting the updated version shortly. My problem at the minute is that where you type the commands down the bottom - the background has gone black....so I cannot see what I am typing....any ideas how to change this? I didnt intentionally change it and not sure how/if I did....help!

Answer
Hi Zoe,

With Autocad and Autocad LT, the colors are controlled under the Tools pulldown, Options tab.  Click that and over towards the top left should be one called display, click on that and you'll see the colors choice up near the top left corner of that box.  From there, I think you'll be able to figure things out but, if something is different, please don't hesitate to ask again.

Hopefully, you'll be upgrading to the newest version soon,

Good luck!
