Question
QUESTION: Hi sir i am rupesh from india my question is how make 2d to 3d in autocad option answer me i waiting

ANSWER: Hi, Rupesh.
Your question is quite vague, but I will attempt to answer.  First, it is advisable when asking a question to tell me what version of AutoCAD you are using.  But I will give you an answer for now that will cover multiple releases.  You can draw a closed polyline or a region or a circle  in 2-D.  Then you can use the _EXTRUDE command to convert it into a 3-D object.  There you have it.  2-D to 3-D.  Then to see it go to the _VIEW command and select a 3-D isometric view.  Very basic, but it's somewhere to start.

QUESTION: Thank you sir but i want autocad version 2004 commands i used this version so plz sir i want 2d to 3d command once again thanks rupesh india

Answer
Rupesh  The command I gave you is a2004 compatible command.  I purposely gave you the command with the _ character in front of it.  If you are using AutoCAD installed in a different language, then if you type _EXTRUDE at tht command line, the EXTRUDE command will execute.  Be sure and include the _ character.  If the keyboard configuration for the keyboard of your language doesn't include the _ character, then you can copy from here and paste the command _EXTRUDE at the command line.  I hope this helps.  Thank you for you inquiry and if this doesn't help, please keep the dialog going.

Expertise

I can address all 2-D questions and some 3-D questions. I do programming in AutoLISP if it doesn`t involve solid modeling. I can also address menu customization issues and can help you find answers to questions I can`t answer by taking your question directly to Autodesk via their newsgroups.

Experience

I used to do electronic and mechanical design for a flat panel monitor manufacturer, and now I do architectural drafting for an architect. I did and do AutoLISP and menu customization and take pride in making my lisp routines to do the work exactly the way the client likes them done.

Publications
I had a routine published in CADENCE magazine (no longer in publication and taken over by CADALYST). Some of my routines are published on my website at http://my.sterling.net/~bdeshawn
